Your donation will fund a scholarship that will give a woman the opportunity to go back to school and improve her life through education. The PWFI scholarship is intended to help women who are returning to school after a hiatus, change in careers, advancement in their career or work life, and stay-at-home moms entering the work force who may be in need of additional education and training. This scholarship is not projected at recent high school graduates or women who are eligible for other significant funding. The money received for the PWFI scholarship is only used to pay for tuition and related fees at the specific educational institution. Women considered to receive the scholarship are reviewed against three major criteria: financial need (based on employment, family contribution, other scholarship funding, other income, etc.); community service contributions; and future plans (how the applicant plans to use the skills and information learned in her studies.) Though supporting an organization such as PWFI you can be assured that your money is going directly toward an excellent cause. Not only are you significantly changing the life of one woman, but PWFI looks for scholarship recipients who will use this opportunity and the education they receive to help other women achieve their goals and dreams, essentially paying your generosity forward.

PWFI is a 501(c) 3 non-profit foundation that gives scholarships to women and is funded solely through contributions. Although both organizations were founded by Linda Wind, The Possible Woman Foundation International and Wind Enterprises, which conducts the Possible Woman Leadership Conferences, are separate entities with no financial or legal affiliation.
