| Possible Woman Foundation International, Inc. (PWFI) was founded in 2001 and granted 501(c)(3) status in the spring of 2002. PWFI addresses the need to educate and support women as they grow into various stages of life, beginning with the early college years and flowing through retirement. PWFI's vision affirms that we will provide an environment in which women can exchange business and life strategies, empowering themselves to be self sufficient for not only themselves but also for their families. PWFI's mission is to empower women of limited means through educational opportunities and mentoring. In conjunction with educational scholarships, we focus on developing the leadership capacity of professional woman through mentoring, at all stages of their careers, and to offer opportunities for life enhancement for these women.
“The world welcomes trailblazers and pioneers with open arms! It’s not about age, it’s about state of mind. Regardless of where we are in the journey of life, there will still be the need for a new vision, a new dream and a new possibility!” |

Goals PWFI believes that teamwork, integrity, collaboration and passion are the key elements in achieving “What’s Possible” and enabling women to support themselves and their families. PWFI’s goals include:
- The accumulation and disbursement of scholarship funds for non-traditional women to enhance academic pursuits, to attend conferences and to take advantage of other learning opportunities. The funds provide these women, who have not previously been able to experience these types of scholarship opportunities, with the chance to grow, learn, and develop their possibilities;
- Creation of a network of women who can offer guidance and support to scholarship recipients.
Our PWFI Board members act as advisors who individually share their vast and diverse experience, provide mentoring and expand the women's training; which enhances the formal education that the scholars are pursuing and better prepares them for future employment and leadership
PWFI is a 501(c) 3 non-profit foundation that gives scholarships to women and is funded solely through contributions. Although both organizations were founded by Linda Wind, The Possible Woman Foundation International and Wind Enterprises, which conducts the Possible Woman Leadership Conferences, are separate entities with no financial or legal affiliation.
